A silver cane is tapped and shown to be solid. In the blink, by passing a red silk over it, the magician changes the color of half the cane to red.  The audience will start to clap for the very visual effect, but it will clap even louder when the cane will disappear, changing into two beautiful metallic fans, one red and one silver.
